Change the Mouse Buffer Size (Windows NT/2000/XP) Category: Home > Hardware > Mice and Keyboards
Occasionally Windows may report an error relating to an overflow in the mouse buffer. This tweak can be used to increase the size of the buffer, and avoid this problem. Open your registry and find the key below. Modify the value of 'MouseDataQueueSize' to equal the size of the queue buffer to use, for example 64 hex (100 decimal). Exit your registry and restart Windows for the change to take effect.
